This educational event was attended by 28 teachers and professionals from all schools within the Municipality of Centar.

The content that was presented, as part of the project, is a curriculum, materials and practical tools for working with students with autism, which are available online in the form of a platform for self-education of teachers and professionals. All interested parties can access this content through the project website: https://theaclass.eu/

The event began with a presentation of the current and future activities of the “Blue Firefly” association, with a presentation of the online learning platform and materials available in Macedonian, and continued with an interactive workshop on “Myths and Facts about Autism”. In the second half of the event, teachers from the J.H. Pestalozzi Primary School, who had the opportunity to attend autism training in Cyprus and schools in Denmark, presented their experiences. In the end, a discussion developed between the attendees and the lecturers, during which we came to the conclusion that teachers need more such specific education and a significant improvement in their working conditions so that they can professionally support children with autism in schools.
