The training was organized within the framework of the project “Encouraging and developing social and life skills in children with autism spectrum disorders”, supported by the City of Skopje.

The topics that were covered during the training were: basics of autism and cognitive theories, challenges in working on social skills in children with autism, introduction to games and strategies for developing social skills and introduction to the TIP method, as a method for developing social skills in children with autism.

During the training, parents had the opportunity to meet several parents of children with autism from different countries who attended as guests at part of the training itself. Parents had the opportunity to share experiences, see various opportunities and approaches used by other parents of children with autism and create new contacts and opportunities for the future.
