Participation in training within the TIPS project
A training for trainers was held from 4th to 6th July as part of the Erasmus+ TIPS project in Burgos, Spain. The project aims to create a curriculum, digital game and interactive digital comics for the development of social skills in children with autism. The training was hosted by the organization Autismo Burgos, which aims to improve the quality of life of people with autism and their families.
During the training, we had the opportunity to work together with our partners from Spain, Cyprus, Denmark, Greece and France. Each partner organization had the opportunity to present the materials they have developed in the past period within the framework of the curriculum, digital games and digital interactive comics.
During the meeting, each partner organization had the opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions for finalizing the materials that will be used for the next training for parents, when our organization will host.
During the visit to Burgos, we had the opportunity to visit the independent living units, their special school and the day center.
The training for parents, which will aim to train parents in the use of the two developed digital tools and the use of the TIP method for the development of social skills in children with autism, will be held in September.
