Training for parents of children with autism within the framework of the STEAMing Ahead project
On November 5th and 6th, a training course for parents of children with autism on STEAM education was held as part of the "STEAMing Ahead" project,
At the beginning, parents were introduced to the project and the book on STEAM activities, adapted to the needs of children with autism, which our team created in the past period. Parents were introduced to what STEAM education is, but also to what adaptations they can make to support STEAM learning.

During the training, parents had the opportunity to get acquainted with some of the STEAM activities, to practically try them out, as well as to try to adapt them according to the needs of their children.
The training itself was also attended by two parents together with their child, whose presence was of great importance, because we had the opportunity to practically apply the activities with their child.

This training was an opportunity for parents from Macedonia, Greece, Cyprus and Norway to exchange experiences.
